Endurance racing for rental karts

Le Mans karting timing, from warm-up to chequered flag

Teams share a kart, drivers rotate through the stints, and the team with the most laps at the end wins. A.R.T. Racing Timing handles team registration, warm-up, the drawn starting order and the live standings, straight from your Mylaps decoder.

What the system does during a Le Mans

Teams registered per kart

Each team is tied to a kart, so every passing from that transponder counts for the team regardless of who is behind the wheel.

Ranked on laps completed

Standings are ordered by laps first, then total time. Best lap is shown alongside but does not decide the result.

Warm-up and drawn grid

Run a warm-up session, draw the starting order at random and adjust positions by hand before the start.

Printable starting order and results

Print the grid for the briefing and the finished result for the podium, each with a QR code so drivers can open the same list on their phones.

TV board for the whole field

The big screen scales so every team stays visible without scrolling, with laps, gaps and remaining time.

Live standings on phones

Spectators and resting drivers scan a QR code and follow laps, total time and best lap for every team as the race runs.

Running the race

  1. 1. Register the teams. Share the registration link so teams enter their name and drivers, then assign each team a kart.
  2. 2. Warm up and draw the grid. Run a short warm-up, draw the starting order and print it for the briefing.
  3. 3. Start the clock on the first passing. The race timer begins when the first kart crosses the line, and the standings update live on TV and on phones.

Common questions about Le Mans karting

How is a Le Mans race scored?

The team that completes the most laps within the set time wins. If two teams are on the same lap count, the shorter total time decides. Best lap is shown as well, but never decides the result.

How do teams sign up?

You share a registration link or QR code. Each team registers its name and drivers, and the team is tied to a kart, so every passing from that kart counts for the team no matter who is driving.

Can we set the starting order?

Yes. The starting order can be drawn at random after a warm-up session, and you can adjust the grid by hand afterwards. The finished order can be printed for the drivers' briefing.

What if a kart breaks down during the race?

Swap the team to another kart in race control. Laps already completed stay with the team, and new passings from the replacement kart continue to count.

Can drivers follow the race on their phones?

Yes. A QR code opens a live view showing laps completed, total time and best lap per team, updating as the race runs.
